Flags were from CRW Flags Inc's Internet Project 'Flags of the World', uploaded by Jonathan Dixon, 21 Mar 2005.

Design Principles

• Simple and recognizable
• Maximum 3–4 colours
• No text or detailed crests
• Strong symbolism reflecting river, land, history, and future
• Original work only
